• Affiniti renews contract to maintain PABX equipment at the Environment Agency

• Project will ensure effective communication across 108 sites

Affiniti, the communications integrator, today announces it has secured a one year deal with the Environment Agency, the public body that protects and improves the environment in England and Wales, to provide maintenance and support of its PABX equipment, in a project worth £210,000.

The contract gives Affiniti responsibility for the maintenance of The Agency's PABX equipment across 108 sites serving 11,400 users at the Environment Agency with between 6 to 700 users at any one site. The maintenance cover provided by Affiniti is tailored to the requirements of each Agency site, ensuring there is no down-time.

Mike Oliver, Strategic Supplier Manager at the Environment Agency said: "We chose Affiniti to maintain our PABX equipment because we trust their level of technical expertise. We were also confident that they would be able to upgrade our systems quickly and with minimal disruption to our business, and this level of flexibility is important to the Environment Agency."�

The project will involve Affiniti maintaining the PABX equipment throughout England and Wales, performing remote diagnostics on faults and dispatching engineers to perform onsite diagnostics if required. Affiniti will provide maintenance 24 hours a day at the Environment Agency's most critical sites.
