  • Affiniti solution expected to save £240,000 over 5 years
  • Enables Brewery to increase workforce effectiveness and save investment in further staff increases or new premises

Affiniti, the communications integrator created from the coming together of Kingston Communications Business Services, Omnetica and Technica, today announces it has secured a contract with Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries. The contract is for the design and implementation of a new Cisco IP Contact Centre to the value of £150,000.

Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries, owners of well-known brands such as Pedigree, Jennings, Marstons, etc., have been expanding their business rapidly and are continuing to acquire small breweries.  They utilise their Contract Centre services to sell the brands into pubs around the UK.

The Contact Centre solution Affiniti will implement reduces the time spent on each call by an average 37 seconds, which equates to savings of £240k over 5 years, enabling the Brewery to increase its workforce effectiveness and thus save investment in further contact centre premises or staff increases.

Mike McMinn of The Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries, PLC said:  "This new Contact Centre solution from Affiniti enables W&DB to enhance capability within our three contact centres and helps them towards meeting their business objectives of improved customer service. The solution also allows us to integrate with our ERP systems, so improving contact centre process without needing further investment."

Gary Young, Managing Director of Affiniti said: "By taking the time to understand their business requirements, Affiniti was able to offer a solution to Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries that could help them meet their business objectives and save on future costs.  This implementation will improve the number of calls handled by each call agent and thus increase workflow through the Centre."
