• Affiniti to implement and support Cisco infrastructure with Nokia and Check Point security
• Affiniti's Service One Alliance Partner in Germany, NK Networks & Services will provide ongoing support

Affiniti, the communications integrator, today announces it is to provide a new Data Centre infrastructure and support for Avis Europe in Frankfurt, Germany. The Data Centre will provide Disaster Recovery for Avis Europe's UK facility. A number of other services, including staging facilities will also be located at the Data Centre in Frankfurt.

Affiniti will design and install cabling, Cisco switches and servers, as well as security products from Nokia and Check Point.  Security includes Check Point's SmartCentre management GUI to synchronise policy information. Tailored support services in Germany will be provided through Affiniti's Service One Alliance partner, NK Networks & Services, which is part of the network integration group AXIANS.
