We launched our programme of Public Sector Forums in response to suggestions from our customers.  They asked for a forum where they could share information about their experiences and learn, in a non-sales environment, about relevant emerging technology and services.  The Affiniti Police Forum was launched in 2005 and, based on its success the Local Government and Healthcare Forum were launched in 2007.

Each forum consists of regular, themed one day workshops where the audience of senior ICT staff and relevant operational staff see presentations and demonstrations from their peers in other customer organisations, our own subject matter experts and selected technology suppliers. The topics or themes are chosen by forum members and the meetings are facilitated by Affiniti but normally hosted at a customer site.  Ample time is always provided for discussion and networking and closed sessions are provided for forum members.
